In 2005, for the sixth consecutive year, the 2005 Honda Insight gas-electric hybrid vehicle has earned the highest EPA fuel economy rating for any passenger car.* The EPA rates the fuel economy of the Honda Insight at 60/66 mpg†. An IMA™ gas-electric hybrid system, combined with an ultra-lightweight and aerodynamic aluminum body, allows the Insight to achieve such remarkable fuel efficiency. But this shouldn't come as any surprise. After all, the Insight was the nation's first hybrid vehicle when it was introduced way back in 1999. The 2005 Fuel Economy Guide also recognized the Honda Odyssey, Civic Hybrid and Insight each as having the highest fuel economy in its respective class.

The Accord Hybrid not only gives you the inner satisfaction of driving a partial zero-emission vehicle, but it also lets you experience the exhilaration of driving a high-performance car. Because this hybrid runs on a 253-horsepower, V-6 engine with Integrated Motor Assist (IMA™), and coddles you with luxuries like an 8-way power-adjustable driver's seat and a dual-zone hybrid automatic climate control system. Because Honda knows that being kind to Mother Nature can be quite thrilling indeed.
Hybrid owners are known for their smart thinking; now the all-new 2006 Civic Hybrid comes with even smarter styling to match. All that sizzle still earns an Advanced Technology Partial Zero-Emission Vehicle (AT-PZEV) rating, so you can save on gas while enjoying amenities like the new multi-tiered instrument panel, a sophisticated audio system, and available navigation system. Front, side and side curtain airbags help the future look even brighter. With all that going on, it's time to start thinking about the Civic Hybrid in a whole new way.
